The purpose of 10by10k is to support our work in the area of self harm and suicide prevention. We have developed the framework for an evidence based K-12 curriculum called LifeBST. The evidence shows this curriculum will significantly reduce the incidence of self harm and suicide in teens and young adults ages 10 to 24. In addition, the evidence also shows this curriculum will also lower the incidence of school violence in general as well as the rate of drug and alcohol abuse in this same age group. We are currently in development of the actual curriculum. The funds raised by our 10by10k team will go to completing the development and subsequent implementation of the LifeBST curriculum.
